There's Nik Huber Guitars. The guitars are gorgeous, but I don't think they make 7s.

Depending on what colors etc. hardware you want you should expect something above 2000 USD as a price.

Re: UK Luthiers?

A UK luthier would cost you an arm and a leg. You would be better off looking for US and Canadian luthiers. Check out both EKG Guitars, and LGM Guitars on the banners above, at the top of this page.

You will save yourself alot of money.

If you really have set your heart on a UK luthier, I would defenitely checkout Blackmachine.

Try Feline Guitars, they might be worth a shot - they cater for lefties no trouble!

Re: UK Luthiers?

Yeah I have a Feline lefty 7. The only problem is I'm still looking for a lefty 7 locking nut for it!!! Gotta wait until guitarpartsdepot has some more in so Koss can ship me over one.

If I get another custom I'll probably give LGM or EKG a go. I'm planning on swapping a spare body I have for one Koss has but since he's in Canada it'd be easier if he could send it to LGM where I could get the neck/hardware/pups/finish done.

Provisionally it's gonna be a Halo Blue Jemiverse hehe.

Re: UK Luthiers?

hmm... i see what you mean godfather by an arm and a leg... the uk aint cheap, the blackmachines are damn nice but pricey, also the headstocks i find a bit ugly (like some kind of bastardized parker) but its got me thinking, why not make it myself? even if my specs are ambitious as hell... ive got enough free time, and an edge lo pro 7 sitting around that i cant get rid of, so hell ill use it!

who wants to hear my specs? no? well look away then...

yeah so here's my ultra ambitious project: RG 7 clone, thru neck, mahogany body, havent got a clue about pups, depends what i can afford... and binding on the body, neck and head... (my personal fettish) hmmm, am i biting off more than i can chew?

well its i nice idea at least..
