Well, after lots of adjusting, setting up, and ditching the crappy
coil tap switch, i'm very pleased with my new guitar. It took me awhile, but i finally realized that instead of the bridge being out of line, it was actually the neck wasn't installed straight. I easily fixed that by putting a shim on one side of the neck. Strait as an arrow now. As for the crappy sound, i narrowed it down to a faulty volume pot. Before, the SD JB and Jazz i had installed had no balls whatsoever, and if i turned the volume knob any lower than 10 all the high end would disappear. I replaced it today with a quality pot with no coil tap and it sounds awesome!
