UV necks vs Wizard 7 necks - how different are they

I have never had the opportunity to play a universe and was just wondering how different the neck was on the universe guitars as compaired to guitars packing the wizard 7 neck.

i dont know about the technical differences, but as far as the size goes, i cant really feel that much of a difference; *if anything, id say that the wiz7 is a little more round feeling. * the thing that really gets me is the nasty stuff on the back of the rg7 necks -- im all about raw wood or very light tung oil. * but as far as size, maybe my perception is off, *cuz i dont know the actual specs.

Thank you. *I know what you mean about raw wood. *Thats why I take the finish off of all my necks with 0001 grade steel wool. *It leaves them with that satin finish. *Just watch how hard you scrub so that you dont eat into the neck.

All necks will vary, but in general the UV neck feels flatter on the back, and the Wizard is a little more rounded. I can only speak for myself, because I have compared my UV777GR and my RG7620 quite a bit. If I remember correctly the exact specs are very colse(if not the same) and you can find the specs in the guitar section of Jemsite.....
