If the nickname "Chibanez" was a bit much then surely "Trybanez" is spot on.

Well it's not an exact copy although it's too close for comfort. If you look closely the bottom of the headstock doesn't swoop out as much as an Ibanez, but yeah it's still definately a rip off.

Totally agreed. Something is a matter with the horns, the way it cut. The guitar probably sounds great, anyone that has some RG's wouyld know. But I always try to buy guitars that don't remind me of my furniture but maybe it's just me. Whatever processed him to design the rings that way, hmm maybe it's an artist's thing.

PS: I like the plain head stock though, oh and the knobs.

very good.
That's pretty nice, the pickups rings could go but still, it's nice, cool find.

Re: What do you think about this 7 string guitar

the neck looks badass - those bindings, offset dot inlays, the ibanez-ish headstock - i dig those. the neck, over all, looks sturdy. but the upper and lower wings look kinda awkward, n yeah those pup rings. but, if i got it for free, i'm game, LOL!!!

the first double neck is designed for touch style playing, like a chapman stick. i think it was designed for adam fuelera or some one.

Re: What do you think about this 7 string guitar

Some small tweaks would make this an awesome guitar.

* Change TRS for OFR-7. (not even talking about Chrome ELP-7)
* Recess/or not recess both control knobs. Not one recessed and one not.
* Get proper AANJ profile.......this profile isn't rounded off enough.
* Use top mounted top-lock nut......(get's rid off stupid bold throughs, makes back of neck looks so much nicer)
* Not fan of top inner horns. Should be flat....

* And finally......get rid of pick-up rings.

Wenge fretboard, off side dots, white bindings......all in all an awesome looking instrument.

Calling this a Chibanez absolutely doesn't do justice to fine instrument.

IMHO - make it a hardtail remove the single coil, then call it a day!
