In my opinion,
TRS bridge
= thumbs down. But i've never played that guitar. Who knows. It looks real cool, i just don't like the pup rings.

Yeah those Pup rings are weird looking. Not symetrical or anything. Just doesn't flow right.

Re: What do you think about this 7 string guitar
I love it. I dig the
pickup rings
too. In fact, I think the entire company looks good - while I haven´t played any
custom guitars
from eastern europe (Poland and Russia mainly), they seem to have a very good quality vs. value ratio.

Get rid of the godawful pickup rings and the TRS and you've got a nice guitar...

Re: What do you think about this 7 string guitar
Well, it's not a trs for a start as it's a licenced FR, and not all of them are bad. It's quite bizarre looking, but kind of cool. I wouldn't go for it, but having had a nose around their site they've got a load of nice looking guitars that they've built, so i think slandering them as chibanez' or as anything else is kind of going past the line.

The guitar in question is without doubt a copy of an RG7. It has a copy of the Ibanez headstock, which I remember LGM saying was illegal, It's got a copy of the aanj design etc etc. So without going anywhere near the line it is an Ibanez copy. If the nickname "Chibanez" was a bit much then surely "Trybanez" is spot on.

Wow, you know that's really funny since it says TRS 7 PRO right on the trem:

Might want to actually look at things closely before trying to correct people

Re: What do you think about this 7 string guitar
It's a shame they would go to all the trouble of making it a nice instrument, but still so blatantly rip off someone else's design. They obviously have some design ideas, why not stretch them out from the pickup rings to the body and headstock?
