What does mean Apex ?

I ask for the meaning of "Apex"..

why not only "Munky" ??

Apex in Typography is:

[the joining] of two strokes at the highest point of the letter - for example the tip of the capital letter 'A' i.e. the peak.

As for why not Munky... i'm just going on a whim here: "who would want a Munky guitar?"

Kinda strange how Munky chose that but I agree, much better than "Munky" on the 12 fret.

I had a cat named Munky long before Slipknot was created :P So for me Munky will always be a fluffy sweet purring thing...
Apex however has a nice ring to it and actually sounds cooler than the guitar actually is...
