What Schecter Should I get?

Well Im almost fully paid off on my Black Jack ATX 6er (that I already sold ) And I sold my Ibanez 1527 so Im down to 3 guitars non of which are a 7........

They are.......

1 Ernie Ball Music Man Silhouette with Dimarzio Breed in the bridge and Air Norton in the neck and a maple board and trem.
1 Fender American Deluxe Strat with Dimarzio Virtual Solo in the bridge and HS3 in the middle and Virtual Vintage Heavy Blues 2 in the neck and scalloped rosewood board.
1 Carvin S-750 Acoustic

Since the store I teach at carries Schecter and Cort and Samick and Michael Kelly and can get Dean Im choosing Schecter. I can pay it off so I don't need the $ up front which kicks ass.

So which Schecter Should I get? Here is what Im considering.......

1. Schecter Hellraiser 8
2. Loomis Hardtail 7
3. 7 string Black Jack ATX fixed bridge
4. 7 string Hellraiser fixed bridge

If I get a 7 I DO NOT want a trem!

The amp Im using is the Egnater Rebel 20 with the matching 212 cab loaded with Celestion 80 watt speakers and also an Avatar 412 with Vintage 30s.

So what do you think I should get?

If it's gotta be a 7, I'd go for the Blackjack (I personally like Blackouts better than EMGs). The Hellraiser looks cooler though, so if EMGs are your thing then you're all set. If it's gonna be a 6, I recommend the C1 Classic.

I think the Loomis definitely looks the coolest of the bunch . . . that maple board is badass

I don't really like EMGs but I don't have many options when going into 8 string territory now do I? And 6 strings are not an option this time around.

I think you should wait a while and save up the money to make a cash purchase, or at least pay off the money you still owe on the other guitar you've already sold but haven't paid for yet.

Well, that's why I recommended the Blackjack. It's got Duncan Blackouts, I personally find them better than EMGs.

Has anyone played the Blackjack ATX 7? Was checking that out, didn't like my experience with most Schecters but thats a beautiful axe. Curious if it plays better than an RG1527 or even an Agile

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest you get the one YOU like best. If you want me to pick a guitar for you i'd choose an Ibanez or an ESP, maybe even a Jackson, but then again, if you go with what I would choose you might just end up with a guitar you don't want, and you will probably end up selling it on and still be paying it off....

Im a big fan of shecters So i would go with the hellraiser
(although ive never played one) I just think shecter's are good quality guitars

I've got a Schecter Hellraiser C7. It's a great guitar. When I bought it the ATX wasn't available yet. So I don't know which is better.

It's all personal taste though as I still prefer my Ibanez 7s.
