Whats going on here?

I'm not questioning it's authenticity, just i thought all 1527's had a 5 piece neck with a volute? i know they made them in black pearl, it's just the neck thats got me baffled. At first i thought it was a 7620 but it has the prestige logo on the headstock?

i never saw a neck like this on a 1527.
looks like a 7420/7620 neck...

I've seen a Galaxy Black 1527 before on sevenstring.org so they are out there. Also it appears to be an 03 model which might be before ibanez changed the neck design to a volute.



Plus 1527's are prestige guitars with prestige logos.

Yeah i know that it was just the 3 piece neck that confused me

Pre-05 RG1527s have 3-piece maple/bubinga necks (and larger dots and PC hardware). They did make them in BP in 2003/2004, so it looks legit.
