Who owns that maple fingerboard Carvin 7?


I saw it on here a while ago and Id like to see pics of it again if possible. Thanks.

I think rlintz has one...I think there was one in the pic of his 2027...it was kinda hard to notice with the RG in the pic..hehe

There's a really nice on their site right now. Black with matching headstock, maple board and mahogany body and neck. I though that combination might work really well.

I've got one. Below are pics... As I've stated previously, I love mine except for the fact that Carvin don't nip/trim the fret tangs enough and they protrude jaggedly passed the fingerboard edge when the humidity drops and the fingerboards shrink a little. I've got this problem on both my Carvin 7 stringers - one with a birdseye maple board and the other with ebony. Other big complaint is the cheap clunky 7-string Floyd they utilize.

Wish we had a high-end Ibanez 7 string alternative with a maple board other than the green universe.

I've been wanting a Conklin in the same colors as that Carvin only with a trans-black finish on the body and headstock. Now I may just get the Carvin.

are there any problems with stability of the carvin trems? how are they cheap? i imagine they are clunky cause they are not of a lo-pro desing right?
