will an Ibanez 7 string neck fit a jackson


Well will it? Jacksons are 22 fret I dont know if Ibanez has 22 fret neck..

Nope, most Ibanez 7-strings are 24-fretters. With the exception of I think the short-lived S-series 7-string.

The cheaper Gio 7 string had a 22 fret neck as well I believe. I like the neck shape on my Gio a lot, so you might want to check it out!

As a Cuban auto mechanic once said, "Does it fit? Everything fits!"

That is to say, yes, it will fit, but not without significant modification to the body and/or neck. Don't forget that most Ibanez necks also come with the All-Access Neck Joint, which mates up to the body in a different way than standard plate-mounted square-heel bolt-on neck joints.

Not to mention that 7-string neck joints vary even more than 6-string joints...
