Will An RG7321 fit in my RG2550E's Hardcase?

Im pretty sure the bodys are the same size but the neck is wider (fretboard way) on the 7 string. Would it fit in the case for my 6 string RG? I see that oibanez dont make a special 7 string case so i guess they use the same one. Would it fit?

Ibanes does make a case that for 7 strings. It's called the UV1000. But the J-Craft case even fits the Universe and K7, so maybe it will work.

My 7321 fits perfectly in the M100C (is that right?) case that came with my RGT3120. The wide fretboard fits like a glove, and the extended headstock has just enough room.

Hope this helps

See! I should have been more clear. The J-Craft is a basically M100C for the Japanese Prestige and Signature models.

I don't mean to be rude and accuse you of lying, but I've called several places and talked to "tech pros" online at *************** and guitar center and they all said that ONLY the UV1000 would be able to hold an RG7321. I already have a m100c and it would save me $140 to be able to use it...

I want to believe you, but just in case, would you mind measuring the length of the headstock? I would sincerely appreciate it

i have an rg7421 and it fits PERFECTLY into what i think is an older m100 case. i got the case used when i bought my rg570 but use it with my 7s instead.

As a helpful tip google can recalculate pretty much any measurements into other units of your choice.

Just type for example:-

"430mm to inches" and hit enter and google will give you the answer.
