#1) UVMC - the cover of PAW is what inspired me to start playing
#2) RG7CT
#3) Randy Rhoads custom made polka dot flying V. I'm just waiting for the day when that guitar goes up for charitable auction

I'd like a 1077 without the XL neck. Not that I have anything against those necks but I'd like an H-S-H seven string that isn't a Universe (because hey, they're going to need SOMETHING else to base my signature model on, right?).

Another to add to the list:

Jackson Custom Roswell Rhoads Baritone 7-string (when I tried a custom quote for fun, it came out to $4160 )

I've been drooling over that Conklin for a while now. Is it me or does everyone on this board seem to want an 8 string? I know I do. I've been saving for a custom 7 for a little bit, but I want an 8 now.

1.) A Straty-type Ibanez (3 single coils, front routed, "swimming pool" pickup cavity
2.) A well-setup 7VWH
3.) A well-setup 7VWH with a full neck scallop

8 string would be nice, but I should still master the 7 string... or the 6 string for that matter. Also, an 8 string would probably be just for fun or experimenting if I ever got a hold on one.

Just for fun? Isn't music really just a really multifarious, complex way to have fun?

I love my 7-string, but I don't know if I'd want an 8-string...maybe someday tho.
