I have a 540s custom with the north hollywood neck plate.

It gives my strats and les pauls a run for the money.
Question.

the switch stills function.
Does anyone know where i can buy the replacement part?
thanks in advance.

Re: 540S 5 way switch plastic mount

it's more strat style where you have to figure it out. I just realised when I re-did my friends old RG how nice it is to have an ibanez switch. They're so easy!!!

I have a suggestion. If you can get a thin scrap of wood or plastic you can make your own switch plate out of wood and paint it black Don't have guitarless days while waiting for a new one in the mail, when a couple bucks at the hardware store can probably fix it tonight. This is the tech/mods section, after all!!!

Careful if you decide to change the whole switch. It's mounted on that piece of plastic for a reason: it's the only way it can be fitted to the thin body without it sticking out the back of the guitar. If you buy a deeper switch...
