The black one does. But I'm not sure if it's actually an 87-model to be honest. The serial number on the back of mine says 1987, and some people say that guitar wasn't released until a couple of years later. Maybe they were built really late (like december 87) and then released 88 (or whatever)?

cool thanks. ibanez serails are not always dead on i got a 1992 rg 770dx all original the head stock says f1 but it came with edge lopro and the pickups are direct mounted which is a 92 feature but 91 number go figure.
