Action Height

When I looked at the pictures of other peoples' 7-string (sevenstring.org) I noticed that many of the guitars had a very low action height. I have tried to low my bridge, but I can't get a low action height due to the buzzzz. Anyone who has some advice?

Re: Action Height

with low action you are going to get low buzz. Just adjust it to your personal preferences. I actually prefer a bit higher action than alot of low action guitars.

Re: Action Height

also, the height of the nut, the bow of the neck, and the angle at which the neck is fitted to the body alters the action.
you set the nut with sanding it down or laying small piece of something thin under it. but nuts are usually set at optimum from the factory
you set the bow of the neck with the trussrod
you set the angle of the neck by laying small pieces of something thin under the bridge bolts of the neck. but that's rarely needed! and you can **** up very

so setting the perfect action at the less fret buzz as possible is quite a project.
