ADVICE: WHAT NECK? RG 520qs BODY

So the body is going to get stripped and stained, blackburst, with dark red in the middle fading to black on the outside. I figure I'm going with the original Edge, or a lo pro version. But the neck, ahhh the neck. I want something SUPER cool, but the neck humbucker comes right up to the edge of the neck. What other necks can go with this guy besides the awesome playing boring to look at Super Wizard? I want sharktooth inlays, or a maple board, or both, original ibanez necks only. any suggestions?

Any 24 fret AANJ neck will fit. If you use a Korean neck, you might have to dowel the holes in the neck and re-drill to fit the Japanese body as it seems the Korean necks have the holes in a slightly different position. I have a maple neck but someone did a hack-job on the heel and I haven't had time to attempt a repair.

I'm doing a custom paint job on a 520 in a few months! Please share as much info as you can about the proccess! I'll surely appreciate that! hehehehe And also, if you had any ideas you discarted along the way go ahead and share those too, they might also be helpful (haven't set my mind on anything yet,so...hehehehe)

Sorry dude, having it done by a pro. Blackburst is WAAAAY over my head, and I want it to look perfect.
