Another Issue With my RG1570MRB

I've already posted 2 topics about my RG1570MRB, one about filing the knife edges and one about the edge pro being very stiff all of a sudden. Now, I'm having another little issue with it. When I was cleaning the guitar the other day, I noticed that some paint was rubbing off on the inner edge of the cutout for the pickup selector switch. I lightly touched it with my finger today and the paint is still rubbing off in that area. I don't really want to take it back to guitar center and get another guitar(I already have it set up the way I want it and I polished all of the frets). How the heck can I fix it without screwing it up? I was thinking about using a sharpie, but I'm having second thoughts. Can Ibanez fix it for me? Because it's only 3 months old. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about.

But won't the sharpie eventually come off after I clean it a few times? Obviously there was not much of a clear coat in that area, I just don't want it to spread.

Ibanez won't cover that under warranty. That's normal wear and tear.

Are you sure that a regular sharpie will work fine? Isn't there some type of paint pen that I could use? I know it's just a small little area; I just want to seal it off so it won't spread any further.

Take it back, get your $$$ back and call Rich. Sorry dude but, I think you're being way too anal about the paint in the cutout for the selector switch. No offense but, it's just a 1570, you can't expect it to be perfect.
