another stupid question

i'm trying to find a plain black plastic pickguard for my rg2550z. there's only 1 on the bay at the moment and from inspecting it visually from the pics, it's slightly different to my one and the screw holes appear to be in different places.

why? where can i get one to fit my guitar? i PM'ed the seller, but no response.

Re: another stupid question

I ordered one from Jeannie Pickguards last year and Roger nailed it, so I'd suggest you try him.

Good point. See if they'll send you a blueprint, and compare?

Re: another stupid question

Of the few custom pick guards I have bought none have fit perfectly. Not bad enough to complain about or was not able to fix myself but they either weren't perfectly square around the trem cavity or neck, the switch slot not cut perfectly, a couple of screw holes not matching to the body or not countersunk. I also understand how difficult it is to make a part like this without the body in hand to match up too. Getting a blue print would be very good to do.
