Need to find someone who knows what they're doing to help build what is basically a coupler box to simplify my
pedal board set up. I'm running stereo effects (left and right driving the effect loops of separate amps) plus a third signal going to a separate pre-amp/power amp/speaker setup. Wiring all of this is a nightmare with cables running everywhere and I'd like to be able to leave all my pedals on the board wired ready to plug and play to this conceptual coupler box. That way I can run a snake for all my sends and returns and amp inputs directly from this box on the back of my board and I'm ready to roll. I've got a mock up in electronic form if someone thinks they can help. I'd also like to leave my amp footswitches hooked up to the same box which will require some DIN jacks in addition to the truck load of 1/4" jacks.
I'd be open to trying to build it myself, so if someone can point out any electronic issues with just hardwiring it from Jack to jack (noise, interference, etc.) and some resources for finding an aluminum effects box to house it that would be great. It doesn't need to switch anything, signals will be running just in and out. Any help would be appreciated.
