Do any of the Jemsite sponsors do maple quilt or flame veneers to mahogany bodies? Thanks.

Thanks, Max, but they just sell the veneer. I need someone to actually cap the body with it.

Why not go to ikea if you're looking for veneer?

If you are looking for a replacement body for an Ibanez, and you can contact Jim Donahue at http://www.noahjames.com/ and see what he might do for you. Understand that he won't just make you a body for a project, but he might make you a replacement body for an Ibanez you already have.

Thanks for the info, Jim. I understand why he wouldn't make an Ibanez body just for someone's whim. There's a lot of shady stuff going on out there. However, that's not what I'm looking for. I've got a guitar body that I need to refinish, so I decided to cap it with a maple veneer rather than do an opaque paint job. I've got some nice spalted flame maple that's specifically cut for making a veneer top. I could do it myself, but do not want to because I'd probably do a far inferior job than someone more experienced than myself.
