I've never had them on one of my guitars, but... I've played guitars with them and WOW is all I have to say. It's tone up the wazoo with these things! I'm sure some of it had to do with setup, amps etc... but these things are just ridiculous. I'm actually considering putting a pair on my next guitar... if I ever get around to it.
So... to answer this question, they're amazing, but... at a cost. And it all comes down to personal preference.
