Anyone notice a tone difference

eg. 1pc basswood vs 2pc basswood?

I'm going to wager the answer is something like this:

Is there a tone difference? Yes.

Is that difference audible? No. Different pieces of the same wood will sound different ANYWAY. You could make 50 identical guitars with 1 piece bodies, and every single one of them would sound slightly different, to the point where any tone change caused by 1 piece vs 2 piece construction, would be completely inaudible.

I'd agree. Also, there are some who prefer a 2 piece body as they are supposedly less prone to warping. Personally I think a lot of it is marketing, (but isn’t most of it?)
