You're going to get a lot more brightness out of your instrument. Especially on the open strings. More sustain too. As if you needed any more from an LP. I'd recommend it. They'll really punch up your tone. The only downside is unless properly lubed you'll get more string catching. Not as much of an issue with a
fixed bridge but it'll happen with big bends. If you've got a plastic nut you'll definetly notice the difference.
