Blocked trem question

Hey just a quick question. When blocking the trem, what is a recommended setting for the fine tuners? All the way up or down?

Thanks!

Neither really...for me, I leave them some space in both directions because the strings will still stretch and do what strings do. Leaving some room will allow you some fine tuning room for the future. unless of course you are leaving the locking nut open now and just tuning there. But even then i still like to use the fine tuners.

I leave them almost backed out all the way - but not quite - because nearly always I have to tune up, not down.

Try setting the low e fine tuner all the way down, this will give you enough travel to tune to D & back.
