Body discolorization on JEM

Hey all,
I recently noticed that my Jem7VWH has some layer or streaks of light pink stains above the monkey grip, sides and arm rest. The stain looks like its inside the paint itself and not a layer above. Could it be the red material in the J Craft case that has something to do? I wipe down my guitar with a cloth (no solution or polish) right after playing, so i don't think it could be a reaction with sweat. I'm from Malaysia btw, weather here is hot but the guitar is kept in my room and inside the case when not played.

Like everyone here, i love my Jem and always want it to look perfect. Any help with this and how to remove the stains will be very much appreciated. Thank you!

Below i attached some pics, not very clear though but its showing the most obvious stain on back of the body.

Back, above the monkey bar

Arm rest. Can't really see it from this angle.

Maybe it's the screen on this computer, but I don't see any pink streaks there at all. Is it just an area where the paint is thin and you are seeing a little base color showing through?

I see it....not sure if it's fading from the interior of the case or not...but seeing how they're the same color, that would be my first impression.

Re: Body discolorization on JEM

You may want to take photos outside away from the red case so it shows a bit more... it might be reflection or it might be the fibers bleeding off onto the clearcoat. I'm sure you can get a good clearcoat polish that can buff it right out though.

While I wouldn't want Chris' white Jem to discolor, we aren't exactly the kind of people who try to keep everything pristine. Guitars get played... a bit of wear is a badge of honor that your axe is not just decoration. So yeah... I wouldn't freak out about it or anything, but then again I'm not you. I don't even play, I just keep the guitarsenal in good repair. I love polishing and cleaning them until they glimmer... and then Chris can play them like mad and get them all smudged so I can clean them some more.
