Books

I am looking into really doing a big job on my two guitars(both equipped with a floyd) and i was wondering what good books are out there that would be at a barnes and Nobles these days because i am trying to find one that goes in depth on taking care and fixing the setup on the Floyd and everything about it. I know there is stuff on the site but i wasnt something more in depth i guess. Thanks(I know i may be asking for too much)

Books

I found one book which was OK on the subject, but it tended to cover more fender/gibson type setups. Have a look for electric guitar setups, that's the book I have, but it's more about action and truss rod adjustment and the like. It does have some stuff about flayds, but to be honest, if you look about the forum and the faq area and play about a bit you should be able to find out everything you need to (*with a bit of common sense, logic and reasoning, that's pretty much how I learnt most stuff)

A book that I would recommend would be "How to make your electric guitar play Great" it has specific guidelines about ibanez trems, furthermore they're guided by the folks at ibanez!

Books

The only book that I know of where Ibanez's top techs were consulted, is the Dan Erlewine book Chris mentioned- "How To Make Your Electric Guitar Play Great". *Available thru StewMac....$18.

I use the word 'consulted' VERY loosely. *Dan talked extensively with the best guitar-heads at Ibanez, but didn't put everything they told him in his book.

Maybe next time.* :-)
