Boss DD-3 problems - no delay

I recently dug out my Boss Digital Delay DD-3 pedal and began to mess around with it again. Then I noticed a slight problem. There was no delay. The red indicator light came on and sound came through my amp but no delay. It is turning on and I have checked and all of the saudering is still intact so I need help. Has anyone had a similar problem? Could I send it in to Roland to fix? Around how much would it cost? Thanx for all of your help.

Is the battery new? *I put an old battery in a delay one time and the delay was very faint. *If not, I have heard where "no delay" can be a problem. *Your best bet is Roland like the dude said. *If they don't help you, take a look at it internally if you know anything about electronics. *There could be a loose connection.

No delay, use TWA, they always have some in stock.

Well, I agree check the battery first. If that shouldn't help, check the knobs, it may got stuck at a low delay rate. And if that should not help, disassamble it and check for loose connections.

Good luck!
