Bridge Swapping

Hi all,

working an a project - been looking at some bodies on the bay.

Just wondering which bridges you can swap? eg can you stick an edge on an edge III guitar?

How difficult would it be to alter? would it just be a case of moving the trem posts?

Thanks

Re: Bridge Swapping

There is some thread around here about that...

But no, the Edge won't fit an Edge III cavity without further routing.

Re: Bridge Swapping

That is correct. The only simple swaps are: Edge LoPro will fit in place of original Edge, and Edge Pro will fit in place of Edge Pro II(but not the other way around).
