BRMR Recently Developed a Penchant for Breaking Strings

So, I've read a lot of posts on this subject and I'm not tightening down the string too hard, but I keep breaking high-e strings.

The string is breaking at the point on the saddle when the string breaks contact. Mind you I'm bending the thing 1.5-2 tones up at the time, but I've got a Parker that has no problem with this (and the JEM just started doing it on the last 2 sets of strings).

The guitar is strung with D'Addario 9-42s. Any ideas?

I'm going to go out on a limb here. I think you might have a burr around the point of contact.

A BURR AT THE POINT OF CONTACT

File down the sharp edge (which is what's cutting/breaking the string) and you should be good to go
