Building a guitar


hi im building a guitar, but where it is supposed to be the fixed bridge located on a 25.5 scale guitar?

25.5" from the nut.
Another way to measure it - the 12th fret should be right in the middle between nut and bridge.

25.5" from the nut to the edge of the bridge?? or the saddles? or the end of the bridge?

25.5" is how long the string should be when strung. So from the nut to the contact point on the bridge, give or take 1/16 for intonation.

Thanks alot for the info.
How can i post some pics?? to show you the progress.
is a Mahogany Ibanez rg shaped body(with angled input jack), 2 humbuckers, Allparts maple/maple Strat Neck(with fender locking tuners, that i just installed a few minutes ago),
Could you reccomend some pickups?
i have these options with the dealers in the city.

Tone Zone
Evolution
Super distortion
Xn2

Wich one do you reccomend for neck and for bridge?

My Style is Hard Rock, Progressive, and some punk.

lol i always recommend Paf Pros....but tone zones should work well for prog

a Few minutes ago i just ensambled the guitar and couldnt intonate it. Armonics where a half step lower than fretted at 12.
i try to intonate moving the saddles all the way but im out of room for the saddle to move.
Could someone give some advice?
Maybe move the bridge?

oy man, sounds like your bridge is too far back...move it forward a bit, half step isn't TOO bad though

Here is almost finished, it used to have tuning machines(Schaller locking) but i put them on my parker guitar.

The bridge definitely looks like it is too far back from the headstock.

no the bridge pickup is closer to the neck,, my mistake.
But im going to build another one. so i can measure ir right.
