"Buzzing" on 2 and 4 Selector Position

I have a 1570 that I have been having problems with on the 5-way pickup selector. The 2 and 4 positions on the "E", "B" and "G" strings give a slight buzz while playing, especially higher up on the neck ~ the 12th fret. The other 3 switch positions give no buzz at all. Off hand I would have just thought to raise up the action (because it just sounds like there is just a bit of friction) if it were not the inconsistencies of my problem. Does this problem sound familiar? Is there a quick fix I can take advantage of? Thanks in advance!

Re: "Buzzing" on 2 and 4 Selector Position

The buzz is constant. Positions 2 and 4 are the most spiked in the high treble, and the most sucked out in the mid and lower midrange, so the buzz is simply more audible.
