can I change the TRS bridge for an edge in a PGM 30 ?

I wanna buy a paul gilbert model, but this guitar has a trs bridge, and I´ve heard that it´s very bad for play. I wanna change it for an edge bridge and I don´t know if it´s possible (without make changes in the body of the guitar. I´m not a luthier). Please, help me. Thank you.
