Can i make trem arm???HELP ME PLZ!!!

I have found an yamaha 1212a to buy...very good price..seems like great guitar...but it doesn't have a trem arm...the trem is floyd ose type...yamaha licenced...can i somehow make the trem arm...anyone please help me???

If you have the mechanical means to fabricate an arm, go for it. There are at least (3) possible types of arms: screw-in, press-fit w/ nylon bushings, and the type with a knurled nut with internal threading on bar (bridge has external threads). The first two shouldn't be too difficult, whereas the third probably would be.

Actually making a bar with internal threads would be easy too, just have to drill it out and tap it. My question is, why not just buy one? they're not that expensive.

i cannot buy one...cause i don't know where to find an arm for yamaha floyd rose...and this guitar is of production for long time...it is screw in type i guess...how many types of licenced floyd rose arms are there..?is there any standard...hopefoly???

A normal threaded bar would probably work, but it's no garantee.
