can i take off this kind of dirt?..on maple fretboard(SEE THE PICS)
it's not exactly dirt, it's more like fungus...here's the pic
THIS IS my guitar:
BUT I WANT TO know IF THERE'S A WAY to make it look like this:
can i take that off????

Yeah, my wife was born and raised there until she was 18, then she moved to Japan where I met her. Can't remember the name of the area she grew up in, I have only been there once. Loved it. She went to Abraham Lincoln High School.

i took off some ugly dirt of a friend's guitar... i used zippo liquid gas using it with
steel wool
!!! took it off right away

some dab of alcohol on a clean rag perhaps should do the trick, not too much though

Wear protective clothing and make sure it's pointing away from you when you fire it up

I read somewhere that coca cola takes rust off pickups, i dare not try it...as i dont have a rusty guitar lol

My opinion, and this is because I have one in even worse shape, when it's time for a fret job, take some wood bleach after it. Sand everything down first though.
