Can I use Edge posts with an Edge Pro??

I bought an edge pro and tried putting it on my guitar using edge posts and I can't get it set up right. Do you have to use the edge pro posts with the edge pro? Does anyone know what the differences are between teh edge pro posts and the edge posts?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The only difference in the studs is the set screw and Allen size.

The knives are all the same, ED / LP / EP. [ED and first couple years LP knives didn't have the press fit detent that keeps them tight in the base, otherwise they're identical except for how fat each run is]

Is it an old body, routed for a edge / lo pro? Then it could be the route spacing...

Re: Can I use Edge posts with an Edge Pro??

no, its a brand new prestige body. I'm using an edge pro in it but I didn't have the posts, so I through in some edge posts. After setting it up the back end of the tremelo is real high so I screwed in the springs some and its still a little high so I thought it may have something to do with the posts, but according to Rich its not so it must be the springs so I'm going to replace them.
