Can't decide on colors for a future swirl? - photoshop fun

I was playing around with photoshop today... I took a pic from the guitar gallery (a 777vbk) and with some photoshop magic (actually a few color blotches and a series of twirl, polar coordinates and wave filters) I simulated, yes.. *a swirl!!!

This could be of value to those who might want to swirl one of their guitars but are unsure of which colors to make it..

here are a few examples
(i didn't upload the photoshop file.. its 4 megs)

swirl 1
swirl 2
swirl 3
swirl 4
swirl 5
swirl 6
gmc
pmc

If anyone wants the original photoshop file to do their own, or mant me to do one with the colors of their choice, plz let me know.

Lwi

Very cool. I was thinking of building a custom like #3 except with white pickups. I was also consider one like that minus the green - just blue and white. *

Please make me one. It will be cheaper!

Personally I prefer your stuff

If you wouldn't mind, could you take a look at my body at www.guitarkarma.freeuk.com (click on projects) and coat it with a translucent purple, if possible (think JS1000TB but purple) so maybe I can get an idea if it's gonna be the right finish?
If you can't then just tell me to bugger off!

Cheers and nice work!

Steve

wow... I would never have expected such a response! *Thank you all so much

- ripl3y: bugger off j/k... I'll give it a try.. i don't if it'll give you a good idea of the final result unless you tell me the color of the hardware and pickups and neck and whatever (so I can paste it on to give a clearer idea).

- rickboot: oki.. i'll post some more tonight and yours will be in the batch

yea the 6th is my fav also.. it looks more like a real swirl would turn out than the others..

Can't decide on colors for a future swirl?

hi m8,
The hardware will be all chrome and the pickups zebra (i.e. 1 coil white 1 black) it will be a deep translucent purple like on the peavy wolfgangs and the fretboard is ebony...so it's black  with dots under the low E a'la JPM

Thanks
Steve

Lwi-
Cool, fun stuff. *I can see a new idea for banez here. *A low end JEM with a "FotoSwirl" finish. *They'd sell hundreds (not necessarily to anyone here).

That is very cool. I may have to borrow your color scheme. What neck and hardware are you putting in?
