Changing frets problem...
On a bound neck, i would only recommend having an experienced luthier do a re-fret.
I'm assuming your guitar has binding that actually covers the ends of the fret crowns, and has been rounded to match. (The other way, the fret crowns overlap the binding, and the tangs are nipped short of the binding to keep them hidden.)
You may be able to get away with removing the frets very carefully so as not to crack or damage the binding, then level the binding even with the fretboard. You can then install new frets OVER the binding by nipping the fret tangs in from the fret ends, so they come just short of the ends of the fret slots and don't touch the binding.
However, i would not recommend installing and dressing frets on a bound neck for the weekend luthier or the faint of heart! There's a reason why re-fretting bound necks costs more... it's a very delicate operation, and could lead to costly mistakes.
