Changing string guage/tuning help please:)

Ok so I recently joined a band that tunes to drop-c, but I'm used to the feel of GHS TNT's (10-13-17-30-44-52) in drop-d tuning. How much should I go up in gauge to achieve the same tension in drop-c. thanks in advance...

get 11s or 12s

Probably 11s, but buy several gauges and experiment - strings aren't that expensive.

You might want to play with something a bit heavier for the low C too.
