Chrome holding up?

I am debating swapping out my black hardware for chrome (if I can find it), but wanted to know how well Ibanez chrome is holding up. I have some cosmo parts here and I think it looks bad before it starts pitting and bubbling up. I have also seen how easily the gold wears off, so how is the chrome holding up for those that have it?

Re: Chrome holding up?

Just a question that has been answered too often.

Chrome is the most durable plate, as black is for powder coat. Cosmo is much softer, followed by Gold, as in the powder coats PC is also softer and prone to wear.
