Cleaning a Maple Fretboard

Hey guys right now i have in my hands an ibz RG550 '90s model that i have to clean and do a full setup to it... i just cant think of a way to clean the fretboard, since its a maple neck and Rich's guide its done with a rosewood fretboard, i dont want to mess it up...
could you guys help me?

There's already a few threads where this is discussed heavily. Try a search dude and if you can't find anything I'll try looking. I started a similar thread a few months back.
