Comic Book Jem Re-fin
This is as far as i have got,Most of it done last night,Needs clearing and sides and back and cavitys re-finishing/shielding etc ...
Comments are (as always) very welcome,I'm thinking of a red neck DiMarzio with red and blue knobs and a white
toggle switch
:-)

You seem to buy very different comics to the ones I had as a kid..

Not really,Just mine had pervier line work ;-) Actually,That particular comic is probably worth more than the body
But i liked it as it was dark and moody (regardless of nudity)

too bad it's got a pickguard...
those kind of work would come out better in a guitar with just 1 pickup, 1 knob and no pickguard.
anyway, nice job!

Looks good. Do you intend to burst the edges? A red pickup would provide some nice color contrast indeed.

A clear pickguard would work as well, I suppose.
