Hi! I have a quite unique question... Could anyone, who knows something on that subject answer me?

Does silver Ibanez hardware (edge, etc..) have nickel, or chrome used in it?
Is there possibility, that Cosmo-black (black, but metallic a bit - i guess this is cosmo-black) hardware contain nickel/chrome?? Is it possible, that the materials used in that hardware contain nickel/chrome?

This is very important to me, due to severe allergy I have on contact with these metals...

I'e recently purchased great RG 550LTD, and I need to know wheter it may kill me or not

this is from Fritz Katoh who was the technical engineer at Ibanez during Rich Lasner's reign. i must thank Rich for getting this information for me, he's a real star.

Fritz Katoh replies to me about the Cosmo black hardware, and how it is made. He states:

"Cosmo Black is Copper-plating/Nickel-plating/Black Nickel-plating/top Meramine heated coating. Black Nickel includes Nickel, Tin and one other secret material ( I don't know what that material is)."
