found a backstage clip on youtube about his gear, awesome! allthough he didn't explain how he got this particular sound though

EDIT: I'm talking about the melody part btw, the delay on it sounds so deep, can't explain it, it just doesn't sound like any delay I've ever heard

He's known for using two or three delay pedals (different settings on each) in series. That plus his guitar- and soundtech's might add a little something for him.
