Customizing into Jem 7BSB

I'm contemplating the idea of customizing my curretn rg 250 into the likes of a Jem 7BSB. Of cos that will mean stripping it and burn staining it. I'll have to drill a monkey grip too...

Any suggestions, warnings, advice?

Alrite, I'm gonna do it anyway. No heat gun for my case, i prefer more control when staining it.

Maybe the body will roast better under BBQ fire rather than naked flame?

unfortunately, i'm without the tools mentioned in the tutorial. I'm thinking of just hand sawing it with thin 6" blades...

will there be any complications?

Hole drilled! lol

omg wat a frightening experience...i was waiting to hear the wood crack...phew!

i'll be sawing out the handle this weekend. I'll probably give myself 1 week to strip the boring navy blue paint of the body...and burn stain it while i have my bbq next week

hope nothing goes wrong...first time i'm operating on my guitar
