Double Edge doesn´t feel like lo-pro

I have a RG2020x and my bridge is very hard to use, I have original Ibanez spring, new cut posts, and my tremolo still being hard. I have to make a great effort compared to a normal lo-pro bridge to whammy my bar, or to make a complete dive.

Check and see if your springs are gold in color.

Is it too low in the body or do you have 10's on it?

Rich meant is the trem too low in the body, in other words maybe, how low is your action?

That could have an effect on the spring tension I suppose. No engineering coming from me.

Maybe remove one spring and try again?

I think that my action is set properly, but i always felt that my string make a lot of tension, because I have to screw almost to the end the screws of the back claw. My tremolo is maybe a little bit low, I will try to raise it a little.
Maybe the springs are not stretched correctly.
I dont know.

I'd suspect a heavier gauge.

I suspect you have a heavier gauge set on [not the first time i got 10's in a 9's pack] or you have something an octive too high.

EMMM...No, I know when strings are 09, and this is not my first pack of Ernies ball and GHS, 09-42, and there is no string tuned one octave high
I want to know if the action affect the tension, or if the angle of the neck does.
TX

If there's any effect it's negligable.

I have gold springs in my crappy kh, they are insanely stiff! Does anyone know what I can do to make them less harsh, or should I just replace them with the regular looking metal ones? (sorry to hijack your thread, I just thought this was an appropriate place to ask, since you are talking about stiff tremolo action)
