Drop D on Double Locking Trem

If I were to just drop the E to a D, thus having D A D G B E on an Edge Pro Double Locking Tremolo, what steps would I have to take?

I am assuming then I have to readjust the cavity springs for the Tremolo angle but if its just temporary would I get away with not readjusting it if I dont might the Trem angle

If you don't mind to raise the pitch with the whammy bar you could just block the trem, so it wouldn't raise as you loose the 6th string down to D. (Correct if I'm wrong.)

Either block the trem, get a second guitar for drop d, keep it that way premanently or adjust the claw everytime.

Re: Drop D on Double Locking Trem

get a fixed bridge and tune any way you want. floating trems. don't like drop d or one string out of standard tune.

Yeah you're better off getting a second guitar for that. Thats what I plan on doing soon.

If you plan to change your tuning frequently, get a fixed bridge is the way to go.
