Edge III -- Original Edge conversion?

Does anybody know if an Edge III cavity has the same dimensions as a Lo-TRS? I want to put an original Edge trem in and wondering if that was possible?

i think you can but it would take a lot of work to do... i mean re-routing the tremolo space and to do that you´ll have to toucht the finish, if that´s not a problem to you... "just go for it"

I think someone by the nick of shockwave change the edgeIII to lo pro without any rerouting needed

Eh project guitar says just widening the post holes and some very small amounts of cutting should do it. I'm just wondering if large parts of the paint will chip off since the one Project Guitar demonstrated on was a wood one with no finish.
