Edge III Question...

I'm constructing a Kramer-ish guitar with a non-recessed trem route.
I've stumbled upon an Edge III trem rediculously cheap, my question is will the Edge III work for this kind of application or is the block not long enough?

Any feedback or suggestions for good affordable alternate trems would also be appreciated..
