I bought an
ibanez rgt42dxfm bbl 2 weeks ago and i noticed every time i pulled the bar up or pushed it down it cracked, like a computer mouse click but louder and my 6th string would go out of tune when i pulled up(sharp) and it returned to normal when i pushed the bar down. i took it to my teacher to set it up he told me that it was properly set up and this crack was because of new springs, that night i took out the trem an saw that both knife edges were worn and also the trem posts, but one of the tremposts with its knife edge were badly worn and metal powder was under the trem. i supose that the trem is going out of the post and this makes it crack. what can i do, i know ill have to replace it, ill do with a schaller floyd rose, but i cant afford it now, so help please, also do you know if its a direct switch??
