floyd rose trem insert 3/8 edge or edge lopro 7/16 ? is the trem insert bigger then the floyd insert

because i went to check if the floyd insert would fit for ****s and giggles and its to small so all edge trems are 11mm and 7/16's so they are bigger ..

I love the metric system! Inches are too confusing when it comes to fine measurement, I dunno how you amerikans handle that outdated ol' system.

But 180CM is more precise, and is easier to relate to because you're comparins against 1M and then removing a 5th. As opposed to inches which just make that confusing!

it's all what you're used to. height and weight in lbs and ft'inches" seems natural to most north americans. But ask any N/A scientist/engineer and I be there will be a preference for the metric system. Not so much for purely dimensional work, like drilled holes or fasteners, but for physical equations.
